Best Surf Fishing Rods

St. Croix Triumph Surf Spinning Rod 7’ Medium Light

surf fishing rod

Can’t go wrong with St. Croix, like the Mojo Surf series rods the Triumph is another series of rods that perform well and is considered one of the best surf fishing rods on the market. Premium SCII graphite provides a good balance and backbone to this rod, great strength with good sensitivity. The Fuji DPS reel seat provides great control and distributes the sensitivity nicely, paired with aluminum oxide guides, because of this you’ll gain extra distance in your casts. The cork handle was comfortable and the lightweight of the rod allowed us to cast for hours therefor making our session more enjoyable. Most importantly, the rod works well in the surf and definitely a go to tool in the arsenal.
